Finnish Moments
The poems that arose in Finnish Moments were often moments of bonding with Finnish nature. Not from my head or some idea. But from an invitation for me to have a relatedness to what was occurring in front of me. I was then involved in moments of surrender with these poems. In reading them or listening to them. Give yourself permission to do the same.
Growing Colours
White dissolves into black
Water keeps feeding black
Colours, multiple colours arise from black
On black are browns mixed with mossy greens
From a time back blended with now
Over yonder stands naked and bare
Sticks coming forth with greens from black
Such dignity and majestic presence beholds me
When Finland Spring dawns
